This landscape shot turned out very well. We had just finished a white water rafting trip in Bali and we were climbing up a hill and the view was fantastic. Rice fields, palm trees, the river we rode on and even in the background a group on a raft coming around the last bend in the river. The afternoon light was just right. I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs. it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
