Honu Primitive Hawaiian Tattoo Tapa Ceramic Tree Decoration

Honu, are the scared green sea turtle of Hawaii, we honour them here in these tapa designs. Tapa or Kapa (in Hawaiian) was made from the bark of mamaki or wauke. It was used mainly as cloth for clothing and for sleep coverings or bedding. We have taken tapa cloth motifs and combined them with Polynesian tattoo elements to create these vintage looking designs. These design comes in several shapes and is used on various products from electronic cases to home decor.
