The Sabine Bank Light is a caisson lighthouse in the Gulf of Mexico. The original tower, featured in this design, has been removed and placed in a nearby park in Sabine Pass. Every year the tower is lit up for the holidays. The original lighthouse is still active with an automated beacon on a skeleton tower. Just north, in the Sabine River, is the Sabine Pass Lighthouse. Currently, the CAMERON PRESERVATION ALLIANCE is attempting the difficult job of restoring the Sabine Pass Lighthouse to its former glory. It’s a beautiful ornament. The silver is nice quality-it is smaller than I expected so just check the measurements of what you need. Turned out great for my son and his girlfriend to give them for Christmas to honor the first home they bought this year! It looks good, just hard to read the text because of the print and size.
