Holiday Card "Desert Oasis" Southwest Theme

My friend DS asked me to make Holiday Cards with Southwestern themes, so I thought about painting a scene that could be a place of refuge and rest, after hiking and being exposed to the desert sun. In the background, I added a mountain with reddish soil, typical of the southwestern area of the US; there is also a juniper tree, a couple of Joshua trees. In the foreground I added some pampas grass and slate stepping stones. In the centre, there is a jar of pure water, with two glasses on a table, with two chairs, under the shade of this covered terrace. This is a place where you can rest, meditate, pray, and rejuvenate!

My grandson liked the card. Your cards are always great quality. I enjoyed being able to use a photo of him in the card, as these cards are keepsakes. The only disappointment was that I couldn’t get a gamer themed card. He is a very passionate gamer.
