This is one of my favourite paintings, it's titled "The Four Knights of The Forest Festival." I painted it from a photograph I took when I was at the Forest Festival on Chingford Plains in the UK. The festival is on every year and it celebrates all things to do with the historic Epping Forest. On two of the years that we attended we were lucky enough to see the re-enactment of a traditional joust between four knights, each knight was representing his "kingdom." I captured the photograph as the knights were parading around the jousting area and I couldn’t wait to paint it. The Black Knight went on to achieve a glorious victory over the other three knights. I think this original realist art picture makes a great jigsaw puzzle because it’s got all kinds if shapes and colours to put back together. The original artwork is painted in soft pastel.

I was a bit disappointed to find that for the price the puzzle was only a small 252 pieces ..... but ....... it is so intricate that if it was bigger I would be frazzled by now
bought as a special Christmas jigsaw for work colleagues to play with in our breaks - it is a great way to get the team to collaborate on something fun, and to start conversations between folk, and a great positive opportunity to provide compliments on the effort put in and progress being made
the puzzle itself is beautifully made - each piece feels lovely (not a cheap cardboard puzzle) and the shapes are all similar but different
Still a work in progress after a week - it's great!!!!
a truly lovely thing ... it will come out each year - both at work and at home. great image, and fantastic finish on the pieces
