A towering rock formation dominates the background under a partly cloudy sky while cattle graze in the open field that stretches out before it on the historic Dugout ranch in Utah. Trees have taken on their beautiful Autumn golden yellow colour.
The Dugout Ranch is south of the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park in Utah. This working ranch is the largest private holding in Bears Ears National Monument and became a conservation partner to The Nature Conservancy to help preserve this unique landscape.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
