Paintings from the Tea Time Series are bubbling with colours. I tried to create a warm and inviting feeling of a tea party. Bent crawling spoons, dancing cups and tea pots add dynamics to otherwise would be static still life paintings. Here I am telling stories about people. Although they stay out of the picture, their presence is felt. It’s about someone’s party, a birthday celebration or a get-together with a friend.
