Hedgehog Cactus Magenta Flowers Arizona Southwest Poster

This cactus, which is one of the most common hedgehog cactus in the southwest, was named after German born physician and botanist George Englemann, who described more than 108 species of North American cacti species, as well as firs, rushes, pines, cedars, yuccas and grapes. This image was taken along the trail to the Salado Indian Ruins at the Tonto National Monument in Roosevelt, Arizona, where you can see beautiful views of Roosevelt Lake.
