Head of a White Horse (by Giovanni Boldini) Mouse Pad
This design features a painting by the Italian artist Giovanni Boldini (1842–1931), who lived and worked in Paris, France, for most of his artistic career. It shows a close-up view of a horse's head. The horse is wearing a bridle and spittle is dripping from its open mouth. The coat of the horse is white in colour. The bridle is black, making it clearly visible against the horse's head. The horse's long flowing hair is hanging down around its neck. The animal's long ears are pricked up. The original Italian title of the painting is "La Testa di un Cavallo", which means "The Head of a Horse", and it was painted in 1885.
