"Haystack Rock from Ecola State Park, Oregon #1" ~ photograph by Miriam A Kilmer ~ The Pacific Coast in Oregon is among the most beautiful and dramatic places I have ever visited. Ecola State Park is a wonderful area, with tall Sitka spruce towering overhead, gorgeous views of the ocean from a cliff overlooking Haystack Rock, and a beach with tidal pools where unusual marine life can be found. Lucky visitors may catch a glimpse of wild elk. My enjoyment of the parks many features was limited by my mobility problems, but I was very glad I made the effort to see and photograph what I could.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
