Hauhet Poster

One of the primordial goddesses of Egypt. In ancient times she was often pictured with a frog's head. Hauhet’s name means “endlessness”. This is a modern interpretation of Hauhet, the keeper of forever. The recognisable symbol for infinity is held in her hand creating the magic of life, and spiralling in a ghost like manner around the temple and Hauhet, are the endless energies of the universe. I have placed her in a semi classic temple painting pose, but without the stiffness the ancient murals tend to have. Her placement inside the inner temple along with the energies of the universe show her connection to the entire universe, and her important connection to those who called her goddess.
