A nautical maritime scene featuring a harbour with sailboats, a beach, cliffs at the shore and houses on the hillside. About the artist: Georges-Pierre Seurat (1859-1891) altered the direction of modern art by initiating the Neo impressionism movement. The Pointillism technique is often mentioned, because it was the dominant technique in the beginning.
