On August 07, 2010 Darlene and I went on a photographic excursion. In the afternoon we went to Point Pleasant Park in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. In the evening we headed out to Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia, Canada the home of the world famous Peggy's Cove lighthouse. Just before you reach the lighthouse there is a small harbour which has also been photograph by many. I took this shot of the harbour at dusk. I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
