The Liffey Bridge is informally known as the Ha'Penny Bridge because that was long ago the fare to cross this pedestrian toll bridge from one side of Dublin to the other. It's been nearly a century since a toll was collected but this beautiful iron bridge is still known by most who live in and visit Dublin as the Ha'Penny Bridge. This was exactly what was wanted for my piano crazy grandson! He is self taught & is now having lessons by a top teacher and has been asked to play at various venues in the US!
