Handsome Biedermeier Gentleman Elegant Vintage
This strikingly good looking gentleman is a very elegant living presence from another time. Portrait of a handsome Zurich gentleman of the Biedermeier period by Karl Friedrich Irminger (1813-1863), a well known Zurich-based portraitist, engraver and lithographer. Irminger's works included portaits of military men, caricatures, and illustrations for Zurich "New Year's Sheets" (Neujahrsblaetter). Despite his successful early career, Irminger died in deep poverty in March 1863. This is a carefully digitally restored version of the original antique lithograph in the Village Antiques collection.

Unusual color scheme is clearly visible on the art. Not many artist try to emphasize that as an artist they can see things different so long they look beautiful. This is an UNIQUE image.
I bought a bunch of 34 different cards as like to give a different card to each of my friend which makes it very personal. When friends talk with each other, they appreciate the gesture all the more. Beautiful Graphic, Variety of colors in a balanced manner. Appropriate title explaining benefit of purple color. Very good use of graphic tool. Beautiful print. Looks much better physically than the photo here.
