Bear Lake, an alpine lake, is a scenic trailhead and destination in Rocky Mountain National Park.
It sits at an elevation of 9,450 feet (2,880 m), the alpine lake rests beneath the sheer flanks of Hallett Peak and the Continental Divide at 40.31324°N 105.648222°W
The lake was formed during the ice age by a big chunk of ice. Several moraines (glacial debris) are downhill of Bear Lake.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
