Two key elements of the hall of mirrors, crystal chandeliers and wall of mirrors. There are 357 antique mercury mirrors (48 replaced recently) made by Venetian mirror makers who were poached to work onsite. This was in the spirit of ensuring that everything that went into building the palace was made in Versailles.
