Haida are an aboriginal Native American group who have traditionally lived on Haida Gwaii, an archipelago near the Pacific coast of British Columbia, Canada, for over 10,000 years. The Haida are known for their popular artisan skills, commerce tradition, and nautical navigational skills. Haida were known for their bravery. This design was created in 1974 by native artist Xaayda Ga Waadluxan Naay, and was later dedicated to CC0 Creative Commons by Naay to share with the world.
