Haftarah Trope Chart
The Haftarah is a series of readings that follow the Torah readings on Shabbat, fast and holy days. The readings are from the Nev'viim [prophets] such as Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Samuel, Kings, etc. The Haftarah has a special "trope" or melody, that the verses are sung to. The markings in the Chumash or Tikkun indicate how the melody varies over each part of each word.
However you are learning to read the Haftarah, whether with a real world tutor or an online tutor, this chart will help you to learn how the melody goes with each of the trope indicators. This chart is a page in my "Learn Hebrew" book. To find that book, and my other Hebrew-Learning tools, visit http://rafimetz.com/rmd/books.html.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning! The print is precise, clear and of an excellent standard. It was cleverly packaged so there wasn’t a blemish or crease. Perfect!
