Guilty as Charged Plasma Ball Mouse Pad

This high voltage ball of electrical plasma is “guilty as charged”. Just a little tech humour for those interested in electricity, physics and energy in general. The plasma ball is generated by a plasma globe or lamp based on a design by the early electrical inventor Nikola Tesla described as an inert gas discharge tube. It makes for interesting science as well as kinetic art, with strands of coloured lightning streamers radiating from the electrode to the glass globe.
