This Baroque religious masterpiece titled, The Archangel Michael defeating Satan is made by the famous painter, Guido Reni using oil on canvas in 1635. He also frescoed in Paoline Chapel of Santa Maria Maggiore in Rome as well as the Aldobrandini wings of the Vatican. According to rumour, the pontifical chapel of Montecavallo was assigned to Reni to paint.
