Grindle Point Lighthouse thank you card. This folded card features Grindle Point Lighthouse gleaming in the late morning sun of a spring day in Islesboro, Maine. The painting uses a brilliant palette of blues, greens, greys, and oranges to create a beautiful, calm view of the unique square lighthouse tower and lightkeeper’s house.
The working lighthouse, erected in 1874, warns sailors to steer clear of the rocky shallows between Gilkey Harbour and West Penobscot Bay. Colourful orange, white, and blue stones shine in the foreground, a testament to the Maine island's rough coastline. Situated to the left of the lighthouse, a 1,000-pound hand-rung warning bell reflects the deep blue of the water and slate-grey rocks below.

The print quality was very good. I used the gloss stock and was happy with the result. The stock is heavy and may need to be well creased or pressed to keep it sitting flat when folded. The design does make you smile. Colours of the printing were accurate to the photo on the internet. The sharpness and quality of printing was excellent.
