Great Blue Heron Mouse Pad
This Mouse Pad features an original photograph by ZoeSPEAK of a great blue heron, standing by the water. The great blue heron is a large bird with long, thin legs and a neck shaped like the letter S. The photo shows almost the full body of the bird, whose feathers are in shades of dark bluish grey at the tail to a light warm grey on the neck, with black feathers on each side. On the heron's head are two bands of dark marine blue with white in between and below. The heron is looking at us with his yellow eyes behind a long beak. In the background are tropical greens and dried palm leaves echoing the shapes of the bird's long plumage.

The experience buying from Zazzle was great -- the custom made product arrived much faster than I expected (I am in Australia) and they kept me updated with progress emails.
The product itself is good quality and I like the simplistic elegant design. The only criticism I have is that it's not really accurately represented by the picture provided. I thought that the mousepad would be a non-porous or laminate surface and as such the gold writing would actually shine against the soft pink. However the design is printed on a thick fabric surface, so the gold colour is just the shade of gold but doesn't stand out from the pink background. (See picture)
FYI the soft pink is stronger in real life than in my personal picture. Good quality printing, slightly different look to what I expected. It also smells quite strong on arrival but it's only been a day so this may fade.
