Graceful Trees Colourful Leaves Forest Nature Thank You Card

A beautiful forest bursting with energy and dancing to the song of life! It's autumn and here in southern Canada the leaves are turning from the lush green of summer to dramatic warm hues of orange, yellow and red. The change happens because, as the cold weather approaches, the trees (except evergreens) stop producing chlorophyll, which is green. Soon the leaves will float down from the trees to rustle underfoot, and a cold North wind brings the snow and icy winds to rattle the bare branches.. But now, for humans and other animals, it's harvest time, a time for joy and happiness, a time to give thanks, to celebrate the bounty of the land, urban or rural or wilderness, and our other blessings such as friendship and family, home and pets, and the trees that give us oxygen and life.
