Government Unions? Bumper Sticker

The right of workers to organise labour unions is often a sign that a society is free. However in many countries in the West, government workers have unionised against their own people. The whole concept of civil service is tossed on its head when you have the actual authorities - government workers with the monopoly on the use of violent force in society - organising against taxpayers. These groups lobby day and night for more power and money from the people, using taxpayer dollars! This isn't organised labour, this is nothing short of organised crime.
