Gopher Tortoise Shell Design Cutting Board

The original, abstract design on this 11”x8” Cutting Board was made from an original photograph by HomeWare of a gopher tortoise. The design is a closeup view of the tortoise shell. The linear pattern of the shell has been accented, shown by the sketchy black lines over almost metallic looking colours of silver grey and gold. The overlapping parts of the shell, over the black shadow, make it look like the armour, which it is for the tortoise. These contemporary colours, earth tones, create a modern design from nature, chic, naturally.

I bought two of these cutting boards in October to put in my bathroom to stand my soaps and candles on. The colours match the colours in my bathroom perfectly, so I have ordered another one to use as a display stand for the statue I have in the bathroom. They are very well made, the colours are lovely and although they're called a chopping board, I think they look wonderful as display pieces for any sort of decoration in any room. I highly recommend them. The colours are wonderful and I love the combination of the two shades of blue, which exactly match the colours I've painted my bathroom.
