Funny drinking products feature the word Glogg in a red tile pattern on white. Glögg is a hot spiced mulled wine served in Sweden and other Scandinavian countries. As documented by Stockholm's Wine and Spirits Museum, Swedish King Gustav I Vasa like a drink made from German wine, sugar, honey, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom and cloves. It was later named "glödgad vin" in 1609, which meant "glowing-hot wine." This alcoholic beverage's popularity spread throughout the nations in Europe, and in the late 19th Century it became a Christmas holiday tradition. The quality of these larger mugs is very good. I have been putting mine through the dishwasher all the time and it shows no signs of fading or dulling. Ergonomically these are lovely to hold and have fast become my favourite mug for a big cup of tea or coffee. Totally recommend getting the tea infuser with the mug especially if you like using loose leaf tea, which always tastes better from my experience and is better for the environment. Printing was good, bright and most importantly accurately matches the colouring shown on the website.
