Glasgow Traffic Cone Girl Poster Print

This fun poster print is a digital painting of a girl striking a pose in a traffic cone hat. Glaswegians love adorning public statues with traffic cones, including this statue of a woman on the city’s Kelvin Bridge in the city's West End. I've painted on blue eyeshadow plus I've given her a dash of red lipstick for that touch. A passing reveller stuck the traffic cone on the statue. By sculptor Paul Raphael Montford, she represents Peace and was unveiled in 1926.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs. it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
