If you have ever listened closely to a gladiola flower, it will say in a very quiet voice, "I'm glad, I'm so glad..." Of course, it helps if you are part flower fairy to be able to hear this clearly. And... what you are supposed to say back is "I'm glad too". That's it. They don't talk about much else. They are glad all that time That's how they got they're name. No one knows exactly why they feel so glad all the time. My guess it is because their roots feel so cosy. I'm not sure, but I am glad that they are so glad. It's very inspiring.
