The famous Girl with a Pearl Earring painting, now remixed with this beatiful geometric spliced design.
The original painting was made by the dutch artist Johannes Vermeer in 1665. In 1991 novelist Tracy Chevalier wrote a historical novel named after the painting fictionalising the circumstances of the painting's creation. The novel inspired a 2003 film with Scarlett Johansson as the girl portraited and Colin Firth as the painter, Veermer.
The saga of this iconic painting didn't stop here, even the street artist Banksy recreated the artwork replacing the earring with an alarm box, naming the artwork Girl with a Pierced Eardrum.
