This round porcelain ornament features an image from Gettysburg National Military Park in Pennsylvania. Gettysburg saw one of America's worst battles during the fight for freedom in the Civil War. All of Gettysburg is steeped in history, but the Park Service has done a phenomenal job of keeping the battlefields and points of military interest as they were in 1863. I was extremely happy to find a tree ornament for my Occupational Therapist daughter. (I bought one a few years ago for my Paramedic son) & prior to seeing this I was trying to work out how I could create something similar for her.
