George Washington As A Freemason Portrait, 1867 Jigsaw Puzzle

George Washington As A Freemason Portrait, 1867 Jigsaw Puzzle

George Washington, the first President of the United States (1789–1797) was initiated into Freemasonry in 1752. He had high regards for the Masonic Order for it's dedication to the Enlightenment principles of rationality, reason and fraternalism. Washington was named Master in the Virginia charter of Alexandria Lodge No. 22. in 1788. (credit: wikipedia) This circa 1867 print includes portraits of Masons Andrew Jackson and the Marquis de Lafayette on either side of Washington, as well as biblical scenes and Freemason symbols. Washington wears a Masonic apron, the apron symbolises innocence and sacrifice. The trowel in his right hand, another traditional masonry tool, symbolises the spreading of brotherly love. @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ @@@@@ ATTENTION NON-U S A BUYERS. @@@@@ @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ After you made your purchase on Zazzle, please check your email to confirm your order within 24 hours, otherwise your order will be automatically cancelled by the zazzle payment processing system. @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ Click on the links below to browse other masonic items from our MasonicGifts Store below. This puzzle is great, the size is good for children aged older than 7 years old, as the pieces are quite small. Good quality print also. The picture turned out exactly like the photo I submitted. Make sure your photo is crisp and clear. Also consider multiple photos in the one puzzle.

Turned this into a lockdown activity with my partner for our anniversary. I got the 110 pieces since neither of us are big on puzzles. It's was just one of the nice little fun activities we did together. Probably took 30 minutes all up. We're gona frame it and keep it as a memory. The quality of the print was fine. Our teeth look like they stick out a bit just due to the the shape of the pieces around our teeth. But no problems.
