George Barbier Valentine Love couple CC1222 Card

Greeting card inspired by a lovely litograph by George Barbier, L'Automne (Autumn) 1925. By removing the autumnal background, the image became rather perfect for a greeting card for Valentine's Day. Now it shows just the fashionable (in the style of the twenties) young couple, the Cupid statue and the beautiful white love-doves. The image has also been digitally cleaned and enhanced. The couple, together with the Cupid statue, has been isolated from the background. Also the three birds can freely be moved around.
