Garden Fence (v1) Poster

If this piece is a little too colourful for you, I have another version with a white background. I wanted to create something a bit surreal in the colouring. I tend to like strong colours and this piece is no exception. I used a variety of techniques to create it and had to work at getting the fence the way I wanted it in particular. If you look at my artwork you will notice the one consistency is the lack of consistency. I try to make each piece different from all the others. With each piece I try something new and try to learn something in the process making each piece a process of self discovery.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs. it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
