Magicicadas are the unique 13-year and 17-year periodical cicadas of eastern North America. They belong to the taxonomic order Hemiptera. Periodical cicadas are grouped into Broods according to the years they emerge. Brood II also known as the "East Coast Brood" is a group of 17-year cicadas that will emerge in CT, MD, NC, NJ, NY, PA, VA in 2013. The Iowan Brood will emerge in 2014, and the Kansan brood is set to emerge in KS, MO, OK in 2015. 2016 will also be a big year for Cicadas when they emerge Northeast OH, MD, PA, VA, and WV.

This was exactly what was wanted for my piano crazy grandson! He is self taught & is now having lessons by a top teacher and has been asked to play at various venues in the US!
