Funny Lady Who Can't Keep Secrets

This is printed from an original watercolor painting of my whimsical lady series. Her jaunty red hat and feather, along with her outlandish jewellery make her a one of a kind. She is a whimsical figment of my imagination. This gal reminds us all to not take life so serious! I use the 'limited palette' of the three primary colours to produce all the shades and hues you see in my paintings. Red, yellow and blue transparent watercolor in both warm and cool shades can be mixed to obtain any colour in the spectrum. I find I have more control over the final results. My artwork covers a wide range of subjects from whimsically humourous to serious and refined. However, my passion is doing portraiture of animals and people. I love to capture the emotion of the moment. I hope you enjoy my work and I welcome any comments. I accept private commissions, working from photographs. My medium is watercolor.
