Friend to Me, warm saying by two friends, sketch Mouse Pad

I sketched this duo while in my “middle years” following a wonderfully long evening of dinner and conversation with a number of friends I had known since high school. Many of us still live in the same region so getting together happens regularly. How fortunate I felt having the trust and comforting presence of so many good people. I could have drawn this as a group picture also, but art forms impose limits. The drawing begins with pencil, proceeds to watercolors with final touches with coloured pencil. This is done on acid free paper. Transferring my painted sketch to Zazzle involves another long process of scanning and editing that is done by my partner.
