    The Pink Dress / View of Castelnau-le-Lez (La Robe rose), painted by Frédéric Bazille in summer 1864, depicts his cousin Thérèse des Hours seated on the terrace of the family estate at Méric, looking towards Castelnau-le-Lez near Montpellier. This early Impressionist oil painting contrasts the shaded figure and trees with the brilliant light of southern France. It is held by the Musée d'Orsay in Paris.
