This Neo-Rococo portrait titled, Portrait of Charlotte of Belgium is made by the famous painter, Franz Xaver Winterhalter using oil on canvas in 1864. He trained as a draughtsman and lithographer in the workshop of Karl Ludwig Schüler in Freiburg. In 1823, at the age of eighteen, he went to Munich, sponsored by the industrialist Baron von Eichtal .

This was exactly what was wanted for my piano crazy grandson! He is self taught & is now having lessons by a top teacher and has been asked to play at various venues in the US!
