Fort Clatsop, Astoria, Oregon Round Clock

The original Fort Clatsop was where Lewis & Clark made camp during the winter of 1805-1806 near the mouth of the Columbia River. This was their last encampment before returning East from their exploration. The replica fort shows how the Corps of Discovery lived during their time here. The visitor center shows an interpretive center full of history of the Lewis & Clark Trail. This is definitely worth seeing! Photo taken October 2017.
