Fordell Castle is a restored 16th-century tower house, located near Dalgety Bay in Fife, Scotland. The main entrance tower is believed to date from the 1400s. James (M. Jacobo) Henrysoun (Henderson) inherited part of the property about 1510-12 and purchased other portions of the estate. King James IV granted a barony in 1511. The coasters are gorgeous, a quality feel and heavy weight. They look like a precious archeological find. A rustic stone juxtaposed with a modern floral black and white print. I like the way the print goes slightly imperfect on the cut stone edges giving them a kind-of natural beauty. They are a great product and I use them to protect the arms of my couch from hot cups of coffee. Printing is good happy with the quality.
