"Food—Don't Waste It" Poster
Advice from 100 years ago still works!
Even though the original World War I poster was intended to encourage Americans to support the war effort by not wasting food, most of its suggestions seem very current and environmentally conscious. For this product, I’ve edited the original 1917 design by Frederic G. Cooper for the U.S. Food Administration to remove the war-specific counsel to “use less wheat & meat.”

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning!
