The prison is located near Sacramento California just north of Folsom; actually it has it's own town name called Represa. Image shows the main (East) gate of the Old Folsom Prison, constructed in the 1800s using local granite blocks. Johnny Cash sang "Folsom Prison Blues" at the prison.
