My Mother has everything she wants or needs. This can make her difficult to buy for. But the minute I saw this design on a refrigerator magnet, I knew it was hers.
When she opened it she looked for a moment to take in the design and then her whole face lit up. She loved it! And that made me very happy as well. My Mother grew up just outside of Amish Country. This design is very reminiscent of the folk art from these areas. The background color and the muted colors in the rest of the design complimented her kitchen. Which is why I choose it. The colors were all exactly as I expected them to be. This pleased us both.
