This Greater Egret was captured just off the road on my way in to the city. He took off just as we stopped. I was barely able to get this shot. Fortunately, I always ride with my camera in my lap and I just happened to be quick enough getting out of the car to capture this magnificent bird flying low over the creek heading out to the sound.
