Florencia is our cat, and here she is seen reposing among the olive branches. Her face is illuminated by light reflected off the surface in front of her, but the rest of her is in deep shadow. The "chiaroscuro" of this image brought to my mind portrait paintings of the Romantic period, where we may find subjects reclining comfortably rather than posing in a standing or sitting position.
