I wanted to create a set of journal pages & decor which would pay homage to my Wiregrass Georgia roots. The result is this beautiful vintage collection of pages featuring such a fun colour palette which calls to mind my childhood in rural South Georgia in the 1970s. There are peachy pinks of sweet Georgia peaches perfectly juicy and ripe, the rich browns of pecan shells picked up from under the tree and placed in a worn cotton apron, the burnt orange of warm, sugary sweet tea just poured over cracking ice, paired with a vintage teal blue-green that reminds me of the ancient refrigerator in my Granny Lucille's clapboard house. Each page in this collection features a collage of colourful but muted flowers, tea-stained look vintage writing papers spaces, ephemera, symbols, jars, drinks and patterns.
