The background colour is Edo purple (江戸紫), which was popular in Tokyo when it was historically known as Edo; it is one of the traditional colours of Japan. I cant speak for how it holds up as a fully assembled skateboard. But I've had quite a few decks in my life and this seems solid. I'm using it fro a Twin Peaks art project. So far, it has been perfect! very smallJust a few whit marks in the black parts, Nothing serious. Very small defects.
