Derbyshire borders West Yorkshire to the north; South Yorkshire to the north-east; Nottinghamshire to the east; Leicestershire to the south-east; Staffordshire to the west and south-west; Cheshire also to the west; and Greater Manchester to the north-west. Kinder Scout, at over 2,000 feet, is the highest point in the county. Major settlements in the traditional county of Derbyshire include Derby, Chesterfield, Long Eaton, Ilkeston, Swadlincote, Belper, Dronfield, Buxton, Ripley, Staveley, Glossop, Heanor, Bolsover and Eckington.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
