The text is inside a floral frame of purple violets (with green rectangular borders).There is a (faux) gold cross above the text. The name is written in a handwriting script, the rest in caps. The words First Holy Communion are green, the other text is purple, like the violets. The violets are from an Easter greeting card from 1913, published by Raphael Tuck & sons, now in the public domain.
